    Utafiti mmoja umebaini kuwa kunywa kiwango sahihi cha chai au kahawa kwa siku hupunguza hatari ya kifo. Wanasayansi wa Uchina walibaini hili baada ya kuwafanyia utafiti watu 170 nchini Uingereza. Baada ya kubadilisha mtindo wao wa maisha, watafiti walibaini kuwa wale waliokunywa kahawa yenye sukari au bila kuwa na sukari, walipunguza hatari yao ya kifo cha ghafla, wakilinganishwa na wale ambao hawakunywa chai wala kahawa kabisa. Utafiti huo pia ulibaini kupungua kwa asilimia 29 kwa uwezekano wa kifo, lakini wataalamu wanasema sio mwisho wa utafiti, utaendelea kwasababu utafiti huo ulikuwa ulikuwa ni wa kwanza wa aina yake.
