Bayern Munich has promised Arturo Vidal he will be allowed to leave the club in the summer amid major interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Bundesliga champions have wrapped up a deal to sign Leon Goretzka on a free transfer from Schalke in June, at which point Vidal is expected to fall down the midfield pecking order at the Allianz Arena. Conscious of Vidal’s desire for first-team football and his big salary, Bild report that Bayern have granted the Chilean permission to begin looking for a summer move.Vidal’s contract expires in 2019 and he will be available for a reasonable price come summer, when he will be entering the final year of his deal.
The 30-year-old is already attracting a lot of interest, with some reports claiming that Alexis Sanchez is trying to lure his compatriot to Old Trafford.
