Ngorongoro Safari Lodge is a high end five-star lodge in Arusha- Karatu area currently has available a position for IT & communications Technician. We are currently seeking an experienced, and thorough IT & Communication Technician to join our rapidly growing firm. In this role, you will demonstrate your skills ,knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensures and provides flawless, upscale, professional, and high-class guest service experiences as a role model and expertise in IT and system related matters.
- Oversees and manages the daily operations of the IT services, establishes, and maintains system security procedures and policies
- Monitors and ensures a smooth running of critical system specifically the Property Management System (e.g., Res-request), Accounting system, Hotel Star Point-of-Sales, CCTV, PBX, HR software and others, are available and well-functioning twenty-four (24) hours a day.
- Network and build relations with external service provides in efforts to forecasts technology requirements and upgrades to existing technology to improve effectiveness of installed systems, to deliver highest level of guest experience.
- Assists management in implementing and sourcing for the latest trend of IT system and hardware in efforts to increase operational efficiency and user experience.
- Monitor and maintain backup procedures for all systems to ensure protection from loss of data and ensure backups are carried out.
- Maintain and develop the database continuously
- Coordinate with Training Manager in conducting periodical trainings and audits to keep team members and colleagues updated on data & IT security.
- Handling complaints and resolving service 'Glitches', keep a record of all feedbacks under the appropriate system. Ensures that the issues are resolved in a timely manner to guests' satisfaction, As directed by management execute social media strategies and calendar for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Zalo, & WeChat
SEO: Coordinate with the appointed agency to continue improving Search Engine Optimisation for Gibbs Farm website through on-site optimisation, off-site optimisation, Google My Business, search word purchase and utilisation
Wi-Fi/CONNECTIVITY: Coordinate with contracted service providers to ensure connectivity both internal and externally
EDM: Under the direction of management format and blast out electronic direct mail/newsletters to relevant database.
QUALIFICATION
- 2 years and above proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication ability
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field
