Manchester United ace agrees move to Juventus

After featuring sparingly for Manchester United since last season, Juventus have offered Matteo Darmian a route out of the club with reports suggesting that the two parties have agreed terms over a transfer.

The deal is reportedly a loan until the end of the season which will see the Italian champions pay €4m to United. Darmian is set to leave the club on a permanent basis at the end of the season with his contract set to expire and the club unwilling to offer him an extension. Juventus have reportedly turned to Darmian after a move for Chelsea's Emerson Palmieri failed.
Darmian signed for United from Juventus' local rivals Torino in 2015 for a fee believed to be £12.7m but he never managed to secure a regular place in the starting eleven. La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that 'there is an agreement' between United and the Serie A giants that will see the 29-year old arrive in Turin in the 'next days'.
