Arsenal and Man United handed transfer boost on Carrasco

With Manchester United and Arsenal reported to be interested in Yannick Carrasco, his agent Christophe Henrotay has revealed that the Belgian is keen on a move to Europe with his family struggling to adapt in China.

Carrasco left Atletico Madrid last year in the January transfer window to join Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang. A move to Arsenal looks unlikely with the club looking for a loan deal rather than a permanent transfer due to what Unai Emery termed as lack of enough transfer funds. Carrasco's wife Noémie Happart confirmed United's interest in the winger, "Yes, they’re very interested. I won’t hide it from you, but nothing has been signed."
In an interview with Interdipendenza, Henrotay revealed that his family was the reason for seeking a transfer back to Europe, "There's plenty of interest in Yannick from all over Europe because his family are having problems adapting to China. He's concerned about his family, which is completely normal. He has a lot of respect for his current club, Dalian, because he loves them and because they're a great team with a lot of history.
"He wants to be honest with them, and it's for this reason that he's talked to the club, informing them that he isn't 100 percent focused because of his family's difficulties. There's the possibility that Dalian reward this honesty and talk to the clubs interested in him."
