The Dar Rapid Transit (DART) is an Executive Agency established through GN.120 of 25th May, 2007 under the Executive Agency Act No. 30 of 1997 and its amendments with the main objective of providing high quality and most efficient public transport service in Dar es Salaam Citybfeaturing with modern high-capacity buses operating in exclusive lanes. The DART System is planned to be implemented in six phases covering 140.1 km. The Office of the Treasury Registrar (OTR) was established under the Treasury Registrar (Powers and Functions) Act, (Cap 370, and R.E 2002) as amended. It is a government institution mandated to supervise public and statutory corporations (PSCs), custodian of public investments and rendering of advice to the government on various matters pertaining to performance of PSCs and their investments. The ministry of lands was established as a department of Lands and later changed into a full ministry which changed its name according to the functions within that specific period. The current name is Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development which encompass core sector Departments which are: Land Administration, Survey and Mapping, Physical Planning and Housing. Core sector units are Registration of Titles, Property Valuation, and District Land and Housing Tribunal.
